Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician and a founding member of Motley's heavy metal group, is an American-Greek-American musician. Along with being the band's long-term drummer, Lee founded rap metal band Methods of Mayhem and has had solo musical projects. Lee has a strong support for PETA as well as animal rights. Lee has written Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president to express his displeasure over Tilikum's treatment. Lee believed that the animal should be released and explained that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their main donor of sperm. Lee stated that he was disgusted by SeaWorld's ill-conceived and twisted methods for obtaining Tilikum Sperm. Lee expressed his desire to stop tragedies such as trainers dying due to this was the result of the whales' inability be kept captive.
