In America The early performance arts achievements of the young Maureen FitzSimons (who we know as Maureen O'Hara) would definitely place her into the child prodigy category. But for a young Irish girl who was surrounded by gifted parents and extended family these qualities were natural. Maureen moved into this loving home on the 17th of August 20 in Ranelagh. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons, her mother. She was an accomplished contralto. Charles FitzSimons managed a Dublin-based firm and also owned a stake in "The Shamrock Rovers," a renowned Irish soccer squad. Maureen FitzSimons is the 2nd FitzSimons children. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen was a great athlete and was a gruelling athlete in games when she was young. The passion for sports was matched by the natural ability to perform. Her winning of almost all Feis prizes for her own country's theater and drama proved this. At the age of 14, the Abbey Theater accepted her and allowed her to live out her passion for classical theatre and opera singing.
