Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American stage actress and producer, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as appearing in The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue is an American actress also known as producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. Her career began as an actor in theater and then went on to be a part of numerous television shows, as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with high praise but also numerous awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie.
